Turn Away, Turn Away
The Eternal Witness and the Spirit of Truth:The poem references ancient, spiritual forces—awareness, blood, and spirit—as divine witnesses to human actions, emphasizing that nothing is hidden from eternal truth and justice.
Violence, Vanity, and Self-Destruction:It confronts the folly of those who rise against their own source—against the head with the fist—symbolizing rebellion against divine order or inner truth, which only leads to personal ruin.
The Strength of Light and Forgiveness:True spiritual power is portrayed not in domination but in love and prayer, even for enemies. Light, in its purity, stands over all shadow, and those who stand in it seek life even for those who oppose them.
Divine Intervention and Final Opportunity:The poem culminates in a moment of urgency—the final chance before something is "sealed." It’s a last offering of grace, where salvation can still be chosen through turning away from darkness and returning to the path of life.

Turn Away, Turn Away
The sphere of awareness thrives
And all that is Ancient
And all that is Blood
And all that is Spirit
Bears witness
Truly that which is natural
And that intrinsic rite
Besiege proper, the imperial infinitude
With halberd and sceptre grip
Turn away, Turn away
Before it has been sealed
Heed admonishing prayer
And humbling issue
Profanation reflects to the voice
Swelled more on return
Poor folly, enchanter nescience
As pebbles before the precipice
Pray tell of the failed agents will
Whose scorn rises up to their master?
Pray tell what befalls the head
When the fist rises up against it?
Turn away, Turn away
Before it has been sealed
As all eyes do witness
And ears do hear
Listen, the silent voice of the ancient
Now speaks
And the heart of the blood
Now lives
Greater yet is the vanity
Set forth against the Spirit
Where garrisons blockade
And legions berserk all darkness
For not one shadow stands before flame
Save they of all time under the sun
Found stood in Spirit’s light
Who pray their enemies have life
Turn away, Turn away
Before you have sealed it
Save yourself from self destruction
Turn Away, Turn Away
