To the Yet Unknown

We face a family of choices
embrace a feeling of growth
reveal to ourselves more then we knew
more than we expected
more than we thought.

Is this how our Kingdom grows?
not with birth of flesh and babies breath
but birth of love and loss of fear?

I see all my dogs and cats in this life
and they go in short time
but love them all I would
if now I found them with me.

I see all my friends and bandmates from this life
and they go in short time
But make music and laughter with them all I would
if now I found them with me.

I see all my childhood family from this life
and they go in short time
but dwell amongst them all I would
if now was the same as all before.

I see all the children grow up
and they too move on to their lives.
I speak of no regrets,
but rather the way of life as it should be.

And now this woman who stands with me
is she who stands for always and forever
even in my dreams before
she so is still in my dreams ahead.

I see before us that new family
who also walks with us
to give birth to eternal love
expanded grace
deeper understandings
greater fulfillments

Our Spiritual famly
Our emotional Family
Our physical family
who stays and walks and creates with us.

It is a family of choices
it is a walk out of our own shadows
it is ready help
open arms
and a Kingdom unto itself.

Have we always known?
I feel your heart and I trust in it.
I smile at the thought of your ongoing Peace
Joy
Happiness
Desire
Safety
Security
Family.

We were alone
Then we found each other
Now together we go
To even greater places yet Unknown to us.

This is answered prayers
That we would behold the Love of God
hand in hand with our Family.
