In the Beginning
The Nature of Life and Existence – Life is not accidental; it emerges from the divine outpouring. The poem explores the relationship between energy, motion, will, and law, revealing the interconnectedness of all existence.
The Purpose and Measure of Time – Time is introduced as a necessary structure, allowing creation to unfold in a meaningful sequence. Change, growth, and renewal are woven into the fabric of existence.
The Blindness of Denial – The poem challenges those who reject divine creation, exposing the contradictions of disbelief. It argues that even questioning existence requires sentient will, affirming life’s intrinsic value.
The Eternal Plan and Human Choice – All things are made with purpose, including humanity’s ability to choose. The Master Craftsman fine-tunes creation with care, offering the gift of knowledge and the opportunity to seek Him.

In the Beginning
The void was made to be considered
A thought of creation awake
A realm of its own, unlike the spirits
The new temple empty
Ready for the vastness to be measured
With great love and desire
Did all things come into being
With a blast of will and want
By the voice of Life outspoken
As a flame lit across the void
Energies formed by the shedding
That small portion departed to ignite
By the very life and force of God
Did God pour out Himself
And marked the works of light
In this direction and that
Energies took their voyage
Gathering amongst themselves
That they may be a body of life
Throughout the whole of the void
Some did gather of the desire of God
To give life to all others
More did gather of the purpose of God
To bring new life where life was not
Each took their place as commanded
The marking of time came to being
Roaming of all things expanding
Measured here and there between
That this kind would be and then not
So that another kind would be – and then not
Progress the great and indomitable temples!
Formed with grand care and mastery
The works of the Almighty Craftsman
Witnessed far and wide in universal strength
Who can say they have done such a thing?
Where can there be energy without life?
Where can there be particle without energy?
Where can there be motion without will?
Where can there be mass without law?
Where can there be life without desire?
Of these powers who can say what came before it?
Of these principles who can say who manifest them?
Of what before it all did command it so?
Ya, of the blind they speak of nothingness
As they see nothing in their blindness!
And who shall say they are alone
In a universe made for life itself to be here?
And who shall say they are of nothing
When made right here to be of life?
Can it not be seen that all we see is us?
For not even a consideration can be made
Without the sentient will to have given it cause!
Nor can a measurement of any kind be of any existence
Without the matter of it being willed beforehand!
How then can we weigh our worth without the Author?
Only he who hates life denies life
Yet he wishes to control it even unbelieved?
Exposing his irony of ignorant deception
As blindness made witnessed even by the simple
Where the dead rise and walk again when humbled
How great and marvellous our delighted skies
And the formation of infinite life at our feet
How wonderful and beautiful our purpose
And the song we share of our wonder of it
Holy is the desire we have been given to explore it
In the beginning it was so
For the Master Craftsman examines His work
And fine tunes it with sincere interest
That life be made and life be given
That life be abundant in all the void
In the beginning it was so
For the Master Craftsman’s work is Good
And His desire for it cannot be unmade
Nor has anything been without purpose and plan
Even that we be given choice – to know Him
