Know not at all what is being done
The hubris of their law blinds
The folly of their will deafens
The desire of their heart betrays
They – even they who rule nothing
Know not at all what is being done
The blame of their tongue deceives
The anger of their acts derail
The fear of their heart destroys
Rise the leviathan with many heads
For each play a part they do not know
Of a goal they believe their own
Seeing not the hand behind them
Nor the goal of it to control them
Believing they are of accord
Knowing not they are mere slaves
Neither the hand of the throne
Nor the hand behind the throne
Nor the hand before the shadow
Even the hand behind the shadow
Of what men may perceive as enacted
Reveals not the master before them
For we have caught the war of the spirits
Far beyond our knowledge are they
Far beyond our reason they chart
Far beyond our ability they work
Far beyond our comprehension
Of things we cannot fathom
Do we see our world beset by this!
As all point fingers and blame
Are none found speaking truth
For man accosts man in ignorance
So we are all deceived by folly
When none can stop what has begun
For it was not man who did so enact
Lo, before us the earth does prepare
Giving signs and wonders foretold
With all her creatures making way
In bewilderment do they huddle
Crying out to the heavens they speak
As each and every one declares
Is it not time to call on God?
Or shall the force of the want of man
Keep him forever is his foolishness?
Can we not see the storm before us?
Or shall the pride of the desire of man
Keep him forever outside his shelter?
Where on the earth shall you go
When no tree or rock or hole
Can protect us?
Where on earth shall you flee
When no land or sea or air
Can receive us?
Where on earth shall you run
When no knowledge or skill
No worth or wealth
No strength or wisdom
Can save us?
For the war of the heavens
Shakes the very foundation of time
Tears the fabric of space
And ripples the matter of existence
And to whom shall we call out
When such things are already here?
While yet few and far between
Is the repentance of man
Even in the face of calamity
Does his master become clear
By the very pride for which it is born
But of they who turn to God
Is there perfected shelter and peace
Under His Wings are we safe from all
By His love are we protected
By His power are we received
By His promise are we made free
By His law do we walk rightly
Not because of our greatness
But because of His greatness
Not because of our knowledge
But because of His understanding
Not because of our desire
But because of His desire
Not because of our works or wisdom
But because of His works and love
Are we made free
Free from the lamentation of the spirit
Free from the tumult of the heart
Free from the angst of the flesh
Free from the desire for foolishness
Can we not see the folly before us?
Can we not plainly witness
The power of insanity
Ruling the world of today?
Does this not reveal the false god?
For if we see not that this is dark
Then how shall we see the dark
Behind the lies of the false light
Coming soon to act as savior
From the very damnation he made?
And if we fall to such gaslight
How then shall we rise to any truth
Unless the truth is already within us
By the real Light and real Love
Of God who did make us
And gives such gifts to all
Who honestly seek to call His Name?
