That Hour
The Hidden Struggles of Judgment Judgment does not only come in grand trials but in daily encounters with friends, family, and society. The world constantly seeks to entangle us in its expectations and accusations.
Divine Protection and Guidance Though we face trials, we are never alone. God’s presence, seen or unseen, provides wisdom and defense in the moments we need it most.
The Deception of the World’s Justice Human justice often seeks condemnation rather than truth. Many are led to believe they must answer every accusation, yet scripture reminds us to trust in divine wisdom.
The Call to Spiritual Readiness The battle is ongoing, not a future event. Seeking the wisdom of the Holy Spirit prepares us for these unseen trials, ensuring that our words and actions align with God’s will.

That Hour
The hour is today
And every day it is
The hour is at hand
And it has always been
It comes from our enemies
It coms from our friends
It comes from our families
It comes from our loved ones
We are delivered to the world
And all that is unholy
We are delivered to the sanctuary
And all that seems holy
We are delivered to the moment
Coming to and fro as to hide
We are delivered to the snare
Set before us as a table of feast
We are judged and questioned always
And often not when we believe so
We are protected and defended
Even more so we do not see
We are established to fail by all
And by all who believe their cause
We are established to be condemned
By the very word of human justice
We are brought before the nations
We are brought before the courts
We are brought before our livelihood
We are brought before our church
We are brought before our parents
We are brought before our children
We are brought before our spouses
And all who know not their master
So think not the day will come
When we think not what to say
For it is in every hour
In some seemingly insignificant way
But it happens always daily
So that you may never see the light
Nor even notice that it’s there
To accuse you by your reply
So open eyes to God above
And God within invite
For always has the battle drawn
In our days and in our nights
It isn’t just once
Not in a far off time
It’s probably happening now
So that you fall to feelings prey
Then let us seek the Master’s lesson
That we understand it now
For my words are meaningless alone
Unless aligned with His great call.
LUKE 12. V 11-12
“Now when they bring you to the synagogues and magistrates and authorities, do not worry about how or what you should answer, or what you should say. 12. For the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say.”
