Light of the Forest
It is necessary at times
To bring understanding
Back under one roof
For man often raises his voice
Over a single tree
Missing the forest around him
Whereas the tree is clung to
As though it is the only salvation
Because of the blindness of the man
Causing discord among brethren
Giving sign to all common sense
Which is that it is the whole forest
That offers comfort and protection
Food and drink, beauty and rest
Shelter and good earth
Yet many who call themselves Pastor
Are exactly of such men
Who cling to a single tree
And claim that without that tree
All salvation is erased
Truly each and every soul
Of this very earth
Has also been as that preacher
At one time or another spoke likewise
Brought on by fear dwelling within
So let us be clear using the religionists terms
If it may please indulgence
In the beginning was the Word
And the Word was with God
And the Word was God
All things seen and unseen
Known and unknown
Physical and spiritual
Literal and conceptual
Material and ethereal
Heaven and hell and the universe
Were made by God and for God
And ARE God
Nothing exists
That was not made by God
Nothing exists outside of God
All things ARE the body of God
Christ spoke that we are in His hand
And that He is in the hand
Of the Father
And that NOTHING can be taken
From the hand of the Father
By anyone
Therefore the “Father” IS
The very origin of all, and is God
Even the greatest of the great
Mightiest of the mighty
And most powerful of lords
RECIEVED all power from God
And without God
Would have nothing & exist not
Neither are they outside of God
As they too are an expression of God
THIS is the way and the Life
For by truth of Life do we have life
And that life was within the Word
And the Word gave life to all
And offered everlasting life
To all who are in the way of Truth
Christ IS that truth
For He is the Word of God
Who desired to create life
That we see and hear all around us
Some get hung up on words and names
Yet even the Word Himself
Saw many who knew Him not
Have faith already in Him
For they had faith in life and love
Knowing not God
Yet still doing Gods work
This He praised and this He expressed
But the Jews at the time
Saw those men as Romans
And enemies of God
Though the gentiles had a faith
That the Jews then did not
They saw an uncircumcised man
They saw an unclean man
They saw a soldier of an oppressor
They saw rules not being followed
They saw the tree and missed the forest
God, who made the forest
Saw the truth
And spoke the truth
Who then can say
This man dressed poorly for church?
Or this man has long hair like a woman?
Or this man isn’t one of us?
Or this man doesn’t qualify for life?
Idiots we are!!!!
For God offered life to all
And we OURSELVES decide to desire it
“I put before you life and death, choose life that you may live”
Indeed we see even now
ALL men choose between them
Just as many decided
To reject the Word of God
And judged themselves unworthy
Of everlasting life
Was it then also given to the gentiles
The very men rejected by men
Because of their fearful faith
In a single tree
For what God makes clean
None can make unclean
And what God makes unclean
None can make clean
Just as He made all men
Of One blood through His blood
And of the sacrifice made
To dwell among us as men
In order to give the Word
Of the Kingdom of God
And the message of the Father
Was a greater payment
Than ALL things in existence
Capable of blotting out all sin
And all darkness and all evil
And all wrongdoing and all ignorance
Even to the forgiving of they who rejected God
Thereby ensuring trust only in God
As the sole judge of life and death
For God IS life and the origin of it
Putting it before us to choose
Thus creating the only sin
Unpardonable because of us
For if we want to reject our own life
How can we live?
If we desire to punish ourselves
Who can stop us?
If we condemn ourselves unworthy
Trusting our own judgement above God’s Spirit
Who then can pardon us?
The Holy Spirit
Is the very everlasting LIFE of God
The life within God, and IS God
From which is all life
The flesh of man (that is not him)
Has life for a time
But the spirit of man (that is who he is)
Requires the Holy Spirit, which is his life
And the physical body cannot live without it
Just as no body can endure without our spirit
Neither is who we are not spirit
For even the death of our bodies proves such
That the source of life left it
Which is Us, no longer in the body
So that it ends and we continue
Proving that we are not our bodies
And proving that Christ’s words are true
That God is a spirit, Life is a Spirit
And we are God’s life
Just as He was
For upon physical death we are no longer there
The body did not lose a battery to run it
Instead it died because we left,
Life left, spirit left, God left
Leaving behind
A beautifully made biological mechanism
No longer running and working for our spirit
And Spirit, being eternal…
Who shall die whose spirit left a body?
And how can spirit die when it is of God?
So let us listen not
To the folly of fearful preachers
And loud men who wail over “EVIL”
Who yell of wrath and judgement
For they know not the Love of God
And embrace intimately the fear of darkness
Not only is the tree God’s possession
But so is the forest, the land, the water
The earth, the moon, planets, stars
Galaxies, nebulae, space between
Indeed all the universe and more!
They are God, and God’s imagination
When praying… ask God
To open your eyes to truth and wonder
To open your heart to love and kindness
To open your arms to help and support
To open your mind to knowledge
And to open your spirit to wisdom
For the Word said “be not afraid”
As a tree takes time to grow
So too are we growing
And we may not weather a storm well
While we are still a sapling
Yet God loves us even in our ignorance
For it is ORDAINED that we grow
From darkness to light
Just as a tree does also
And God will help us grow towards Him
And His way… always, if we desire
We are not cursed for being weak
Nor are we lost
If we don’t grasp a certain detail
For when it will matter in our life
God will reveal it
As our branch grows to that light
God offered truth and love
Peace and brotherhood
Hope and Life and the Father
So that we may understand Life
So that we may understand ourselves
So that we may understand spirit
So that we would know God
So that we may grow strong
And have life more abundantly
