Awakened Spirit of God

Worship Beyond Flesh and TraditionTrue worship is not bound by physical rituals, locations, or traditions but arises from the truth and spirit within us, where God resides and reveals Himself directly.

The Universality of God’s PresenceGod is with us everywhere—whether in joy or sorrow, freedom or captivity. His Spirit cannot be confined or taken from us, and we can commune with Him in every moment of life.

Inner Prayer and Personal ConnectionPrayer and connection with God are deeply personal acts of spirit, unaffected by external conditions. They happen within the secret place of the heart, demonstrating the immediacy and intimacy of divine communion.

God’s Spirit as the Source of Love and LifeThe Spirit of God manifests as love, sustaining life even in the downtrodden, the poor, and the lost. It empowers acts of kindness, forgiveness, and resilience, reflecting the abundance and holiness of God’s nature.

Freedom Through Truth and SpiritGod frees us from earthly laws, judgment, and human ignorance by awakening us to His Spirit within. This liberation allows us to discern His desires—life, peace, and joy—and to live as His children in spiritual freedom and truth.

Awakened Spirit of God

God who is spirit
Who is truth and spirit
Seek not they who worship in flesh
That before flesh it is known
Or through tradition of ritual obey
That before man it is accepted

But in truth and in spirit awake
To a worship of spirit
Because of the truth revealed
Not by men who speak or write
That their own revelation is yours
Not by authority of titles
That their own law become yours
But by the spirit within you
Given by God
That you may meet God there

Wherever we are
Is also God there
Among the mountains and fields
Within the caves and homes
In light of day and dark of night
In gladness and sorrow
In freedom and while bound prisoner
Always and everywhere
Is the Spirit of God
That none may take away from us

For when your spirit prays
It may pray regardless of condition
Nor can anyone stop your prayer
When in your secret spirit you pray
While working or play
While going here or there
Always within you may you meet God

This does God seek
That we worship God there
In our truth and our spirit
That we are one with God
For God is truth and spirit

And no man can tell you your truth
Nor does any man
Command your spirit
For it is yours by God given
As your experience is your truth
By example of the steps of your life

Neither in temples or in churches
Must one go to find God
Neither in cleanliness first must you be
For Truth and Spirit is not limited at all
Not requiring of us any earthly law

Look and see the downtrodden
Who though weak still gives love
Look and see the cursed by darkness
Who though hungry and tired
Stolen from by their own blood
Still offers love and kindness
Because of the power of God’s spirit
Within them

For the poor feed the poor
And they without have more to give
As they found the holiness within
Of food no other can see
Given by God who is Holy
Which is God – the spirit of God

Even the wicked and lost
Live only by the will of God
And the life of God within them
For without would they fall dead
In the very moment God left
This to why we forgive their wrath
As they know not what they do

This to why God took our form
And walked among men with blessings
That we may see God in our form
And learn God is always with us
That we may discern the law of flesh
And be free of the rule of man
So we may meet God
As we find God within
By our own understanding and truth
By the Spirit of us which is from God
So in truth and Spirit we are free

This to why God awakened our life
As in punishment and reward we lived
By man’s ignorance and pride
We did obey in darkness
With lash and horror did we destroy
All in the name of God
Though it was truly the desire of man

For God’s desire is life and abundance
And God’s desire is peace and growth
And God’s desire is to commune with us
Not that I speak so, but that He did
Not that man says so
But that you already know
By your own desire for life
And peace and understanding and joy
Given so within you
By God

Therefore who can judge?
But by desire of one’s spirit
Have they chosen themselves
And this is the blaspheme of the spirit
For they curse their own life
By seeking and desire of wrath
And hope and want of curses
Even so
They know not what they do
And they who do know this
How can they be forgiven
Without turning away their choice?
So who can judge and see
Except God whose life is in them?
As man sees works and not intent

Therefore today I shall not fear
For God is with us even now
As I live and breath is God’s life
And as I speak and go about work
Shall I seek God’s guidance and love
I am no master, there are none
I am no warrior, there are none
I am no priest, there are none
I am God’s child and your brother
And I seek God in spirit and truth
That my spirit awake
To the Spirit of God
Within.
