Music is the vehicle for which I relate my personal mythos from the inner unspoken world to the outer physical world. Music is the clear expression of the real inner me, to the unclear interpretation of the outer self. Music is the language by right that my unhindered and eternal spirit calls and educates my limited ego flesh as to the true nature of my potential reality. Music is the particular medium of creation natural to the life of my spirit. Music is how I hear and co-create the language of God. God is a metaphor for the mystery that transcends all categories of human thought.

Right here some would say that music is also a category of human thought, but every musician knows that this is not so. Music is an omnipresent and omnipotent dialect of expression directly formed via spirit. From the spirit it comes outward to the man, touches the flesh, and then affects the spirit again from where it came. Our limited outer self fathoms only 12 notes, yet every song, every tune, every beat and every form of music in every part of the world is created with this small pallet of audio color. 

Imagine then the reality of spiritual music within each musician where found there is no limit of notes, and no limit of the human ear’s barometric comprehension of sound. Imagine the writer given only 12 words to write the bible, imagine the painter given only 12 colors to paint the sistine chapel, and you can imagine the effort each artist of music must bear in expressing and translating the message found in each melody, harmony, and rhythm spoken within them.

Even those who create music solely for profit are moved deeply by the majesty of music. Even those who create music solely for glory and fame are enthused and touched by the power of music. Even those who create music for rebellion are freeing themselves of their hate through love of their craft. Even those who create in the darkness, unknown and unheard are finding the path to their freedom.

Music is a gift, and something I must express, cherish, and protect. As an interpreter of my own mysterious truths through music, I become enlightened to the formerly unimaginable. Music brings every form of irrational conscious, and subconscious human emotion to the surface for us to examine, experience, and learn from. It touches our prominent outer selves, and our secret inner selves in a powerfully revealing manner. Music allows this transcendence without forcing devastating alterations, instead it provides safe passage within the soul for the flesh to hear the truths of ones own heart.

To those who choose to be receivers of the message found in each form of music there are whole realities to consider. Each and every one who hears a song will gain a unique experience, message, emotion and translation of that message. Some songs will make many feel good and excited, but why each person is excited, and what that emotion relates to will come solely from each individuals life. Songs that are sad will also be received so by the masses, but each particular sadness experienced therein again comes from the living web of unique experience relating to every single individual.
Though you are receivers only, the message is one that is for you, as it is for anyone. There is no possible way to fully grasp the whole meaning of a song by the singular creator. We can only suggest its interpretation from our own spirit. Even so it is our deepest hope as musicians that we translate and express our spiritual truths through music insomuch that you interpret a clear understanding of our souls voice.

The beauty is that each message of music is also found within you, and it is by our expression mixed with your own life that you are given ears to hear. As creators and listeners, we partake in touching both our physical being, and our spiritual eternity as harmonious explorers walking side by side along the path to our latest discovery.
