If everyone knew every one of my secrets
no one would really care.
The lie is more interesting.
You can find this evidence in our love of entertainment
laws, rules, drama, gossip, advertising, personal perspective,
money, news, governments, art, religion,…
wow there is no end!
I find most seekers of truth
are actually seekers of self justification.
I love change
I just don’t like change I don’t like.
I love people
I just don’t love people I don’t love.
I have yet to meet anyone who was sick incorrectly.
The degree someone believes we need to “get” something
is generally proportional to the degree we don’t need to get it.
I think it is better if YOU became everything you think someone else should be.
This is probably why you had the idea in the first place.
If I arbitrarily decide that someone else should take the trash out
it is because I want the trash out.
Therefore I should take the trash out and be happy
rather then be upset that it is still there because you didn’t do it.
If there is some other reason I want you to take the trash out
then it must be because I believe i am your god.
Let the tail-gaiter pass.
For every mile over the speed limit I am driving
there is another thought of how important I am.
Jealousy is the way I tell myself
that God loves you more.
I am not the most handsome man in the world
I am not the strongest man in the world
I am not the richest man in the world
I am not the sexiest man in the world
I am not the smartest man in the world
I am not the most Spiritual man in the world
I am not the Coolest man in the world
I am not the alpha male to end all alpha males..
BUT I am these things to my Wife
Therefore I need not concern myself with them any longer.
My Wife is the most Beautiful Woman Ever
She is the Sexiest woman ever
She is the greatest Poet ever.
She is the Smartest, the Coolest
and most Unique Woman in all the world.
Therefore I need not concern myself with these things any longer.
If I am concerned with my image to the world
then I have betrayed my relationship to my lover.
If I am concerned with my wife’s image to me
then I have betrayed my relationship to my lover.
Besides, I found it is far more interesting
to help her be all she wants to be
then to want her to be all I want her to be.
Have you ever noticed that anyones actual ideas about what they want in life
are a million times more interesting then anything anyone else wanted for them?
Today I love people and use things
whereas before I loved things and used people.
I know I love someone when I am giving to them
I know I am using someone when I am taking from them what was not offered.
A thing is given purpose when it is used.
Otherwise it sits in a drawer.
The best I will ever be able to do
is to relate my own understanding or experience
to the understanding or experience you are trying to relate.
I will never understand your understanding
without first living every day of your personal life
and forgetting every day of my own.
No two snowflakes are alike
We are far more complex no?
Just to bring it back to the beginning…
I often ate the last cookie, and told no one.
