What Does it Matter?

The Limitations of Human Perception and Judgment Human understanding is inherently flawed, bound by personal experiences, beliefs, and fears. True knowledge of another can only be attained through a spiritual perspective.

The Contrast Between Flesh and Spirit The physical world and its judgments are temporary and limited, while the spirit is boundless, eternal, and in alignment with God’s wisdom.

The True Nature of Giving and Taking Material possessions and worldly exchanges are insignificant compared to the deeper value found in intent, love, and divine connection.

The Power of Choice in Defining One’s Path Each individual holds the power to choose between the ways of the flesh—selfishness, limitation, and darkness—or the ways of the spirit—truth, love, and divine understanding.

God as the Source and Ultimate Destination Everything originates from God and returns to Him, yet the choice between love and selfishness remains ours, defining our journey beyond the material world.

What Does it Matter?

It matters not
What people see or say of us
It matters not
What they think or judge of us
It matters not
What people give or take from us

No one can see beyond themselves

For they are limited by their mind
And all that has been put in it
Crippled by their beliefs
And all they have agreed to
Powerless by their fears
And all they have hidden to self

To see truly another,
One must be another
To see their spirit as God does
One must be a spirit as God is

No one can speak beyond themselves

No one can speak truth about you
For their opinions are based on self
And all they have chosen for self
Ruled by their own laws
And all they confined themselves to
Narrowed by their own experience
And all they know not of yours

To speak truly of another
One must be another
To speak a truth as God does
One must be spirit as God is

No one can think a reality of you

For thoughts are formed in mind
Limited by the knowledge of the mind
Desires of the mind preserve self
And all the wants of itself
Needs of the mind overrule others
And all that one believes of them-self

To think a reality of another
One must be another
To know them as God knows them
One must be spirit as God is spirit

No one can judge another justly

Judgements are personal belief
And the laws they housed themselves in
To judge is a curse of self righteousness
And all the oppression they live by
Judgment is of the flesh
And all the desires the flesh thinks right

To weigh a worth of another
One must be another
To know right worth as God does
One must be in spirit as God is

No one can truly give to another

Good things and joy come from God
And all He has put in us to share
A gift is far less valuable than the intent
And all the joy another had in giving it
Givers receive more than the receiver
And all the love between the two is God

To truly give to another
One must be another
To know the gifts that matter to life
One must be in spirit as God is spirit

No one can take anything of worth

We were happy before we had the thing
And all the things can be replaced
It changes nothing of our worth
Not all the worlds idea of worth
Our greatest wealth is untouchable
And all darkness cannot extinguish life

To take from another
One must be another
To take a spirits life
One must be God

Everything I think I see and say
Is meaningless and dies with me
But that of the heart lives on

Everything I think and judge
Is worthless and dies with my flesh
But that of the heart lives on

Everything I give and take
Is for others by God for all of life
But the desire of the heart is spirit

The flesh can suffer all manner of loss
And thrill itself in all manner of gain
Until it dies
But only the spirit loves and lives
Knows and understands
Seeks and finds truth

What I have is choice
And my choice lives on

Shall I look and speak
and think and judge
And give and take
As a man in utter darkness?

Or

Shall these things come from the heart?
Shall I choose to honor life
As God honors life He made?
Shall my spirit rise to THAT light?

For all things come from God
And return to God
But the choice of love
And the choice of selfishness
Is mine

The way of flesh is self by design
Limited to self and unable to change
But the ways of the spirit are God
Unlimited in all things and eternal
