Time’s Descendant
Sometimes I wonder
what everything before
was all about?
In my spirit there has only been one home
one place of safety
one moment of peace
one goal
one purpose.
What was everything before?
I am not so sure man learns anything
but rather we finally give up our denial.
How did it get so strong?
What were we so afraid of?
How did we think to obtain our goals
by hiding them from ourselves?
How did we think to experience love
by accepting someone elses rules?
Love is the absence of rules.
Love it outside the law.
Love is beyond every gate
above every principle
and larger then any idea.
And didn’t we already have it right from birth inside of us?
It didn’t need to be bought, learned, taught or comprehended.
Love is Free
and truly any price demanded is not love
save two…
it must be given.
it must be recieved.
How is it we live in a world
that unteaches us Love
and replaces it with fear
and we buy it?
Fear also must be given.
Fear also must be recieved.
Unlike Love, Fear demands everything.
A life of love produces everything
without any restriction.
A life of fear steals everything
by the use of every restriction.
I have experienced love far too little
as I believe may be true of us all.
What was everything before… for?
Today now and forever
I want to live in life
which is love.
Today now and forever
I want to let fear die
which is death.
My memories make no sense
except those where I see
the smile of my Father
the laughter of my Mother
the comradery of my brother
the talent of my sister
the adventures with my friends
the creations with the artists
the recovery of the lost
the beauty of nature
The journey of my Step-children
the Life of my Lover and Wife and Companion.
I love you
