Stigma

The Futility of Belief and Reason:The poem questions the validity of our belief systems and highlights how reasoning without truth becomes unsustainable and self-defeating.

Cyclical Suffering and Collective Punishment:It reveals the generational transmission of pain—how one person's suffering justifies the punishment of thousands, perpetuating an unending cycle of vengeance.

Condemnation in the Name of Good and Evil:Through spiritual and philosophical lens, it critiques how men judge others’ beliefs of good and evil while failing to see their own self-deception.

The Failure of Institutions and Authority Figures:Churches, leaders, teachers, and cultures are all exposed as perpetuators of division, unable or unwilling to end the cycle they claim to resolve.

A Personal and Prophetic Rejection of Darkness:The final section is a cleansing—a strong declaration to reject fear, violence, gossip, and self-righteousness, affirming a commitment to truth, peace, and spiritual clarity.

Stigma

Is it not clear
How unsustainable our reason is?
Is it not clear to our own selves
How futile and worthless
Our own beliefs are?

As in the beginning, and until this time
Do men make war, and make judgement
One to another in condemnation
Of their belief of good and evil

Tell me who does not know evil?
Who does not know good?
Who could choose the desire for pain
Except he who has deceived himself?

Who would desire such suffering and sorrow?

As in the beginning, and even until this time
Do men justify the suffering of others
Because they have suffered
Making a hundred pay
A thousand pay
A million pay
For their one pain and sorrow they paid
And call it just

So that each 100 then make
100 for themselves pay
And those 10000 then make
100 for themselves to pay
And the million then make
100 million pay
For the pain and wound of just one man
They do not even know

For they paid the price for those
Who paid the price from them
Who paid the price
Of that first man
No one knows

Who shall stop and reason?
Shall it be our churches
Who war with other churches?
Shall it be our leaders,
Who war other leaders?
Shall it be our guides and teachers
Who war with other knowledge
And dispute with other beliefs?
Shall it be our customs and cultures
Who mock other customs
And war with other cultures?
Shall it be our celebrated citizens
Who scrap against one another
To rise above another in glory?
Shall it be those who purposely deceive
So that they alone are rewarded?
Shall it be those who purposely control
So that they alone know any truth?

Where can we find, even one
From the beginning until now
Who doesn’t erect themself superior
So that they may justify their evil
And deny their wickedness to themselves?

And to the rise and fall of everything
From the beginning until now
Has not one nation, one tongue, one peoples
Given ear
Even to their own history

Selah

Away with all gossip and clamouring
For it shall not find a home in my ear
Away with all judgment and curses
For it shall not find purchase in my bones
Away with all self righteousness
And to the proud who are ignorant of life
Are my ears deaf to your message
Away with all rumour and fear
For they will not live in my heart
Away with all justification of aggression
For no room in my mind shall welcome it
Away with all force and all fiery
And to the fool of the punishing toddler
Is my will not your brother
Away with all war and death
For nothing living does die

And away with the believers of such
Who love and embrace the insanity
Of a self deceived heart of darkness
And every area it once lived in me also
Away with it all
For that is of another father
And not mine.
