Sons of the Everlasting

The nobility of the common man
Has risen to the surface of life
And where angels and demons do play
Have they made witness of noble acts

The eyes of angels are upon you people
With heart and intent is it observed
Their voices speak before God’s Throne
Of the faithful works of man

Fear not the darkness before us all
Indeed spirits from the pit present
But they too are bound to the will of God
And can do nothing outside of it

Some may fall and some may rise
This too has been ordained
Yet even in our loss are they found
Into eternal life are they prepared

Some who protect all life
Awaken to the worlds hatred of peace
Yet greater are they who support life
And mightier is the heart than mind

How great a cause of peace and love
Mocked only by the folly of man
For righteousness is born of these
And your crown is established by love

Hear and consider the ancient words
“Blessed are the peacemakers
For they shall be called
The Sons of God”

Seek peace always
Pursue her blessings of understanding
A man of peace exposes his strength
And a practitioner of it gains wisdom

For it is not by performance
That God’s seal is upon our heads
But by heart and intent, spirit and truth
Are they of life known to heaven

Curse not our adversaries ways
But pray always for their release
As their chains are not seen by eyes
Yet made aware to those of honor

How beautiful is the hope of man
In service created unity
Healing one to another in brotherhood
Helping one another in peace

Rest this moment in a truth
Your cries have reached God’s Throne
Enhancing unity and bond and spirit
Of those who endure in peace
