Seven Brothers
Return to the spirit within
For the terror of the eye
Deceives
Showing only the darkness
And the hardship of the ear
Blasphemes
Sounding wickedness as truth
Consider not the failing of the mind
That it should cause you to stumble
Or the body
That it should cause you to weaken
For all men fail and stumble
And all grow weak
These are natural to our course
But remember the heart within
That has longed for righteousness
And sought out justice and peace
Remember the steps of your life
And the gifts that shown you light
Consider the lesson of our Father
That revealed all these to you
For I have known you
And been witness to your spirit
These words I bring to our Father
Of the greatness of my brother
That in darkness and light
Did my brother call on God
Even in shame, considered God
Yours is the heart of a champion
And the humility of a newborn
In all things have you sought faith
And cried out in prayer
Even for others
At the alter do you bring peace
Your friendship is ever lasting
Know you are acceptable my brother
For our failings are healed in faith
And forgiven in earnest truth
Even our sorrow can help another
All of which even I have witnessed
Much greater does our Father see
Than he who also walks often blind
Set down, and aside what besets you
Ask why do you seek God?
He is with you even now, not far
And seek only the Kingdom of God
Which is still to come
For in this is our purpose to share
In each day is that wisdom revealed
