Sharing a Soul
Set against the backdrop of our life,
We find a greater love within our bliss.
She is my word.
Set against the bliss of our love,
We find a greater reality.
My name is written on her heart.
What portion of Heaven could we not reason without knowing the equal hell? The balance to each is each other. We see older weeds, and the garden in disarray. How great and vast it is, how glorious the rediscovery.
Like a seed that finally reached the surface, we reach for the sun of our love to feed our newborn life. We are no longer experiencing our separate selves, but the joined new reality.
Accepting the truth of her life into my soul was like feeling God’s hand double my mind. Accepting the truth of my life into her soul was like balancing an earthquake within her.
We see the ripples…
How can one stop a ripple?
So we watch and see where they go. And life itself becomes a movie before our very eyes. For three days we walked the earth embracing the life of the other within. For three days we struggle to catalog who is who and what motive actually belongs to whom?
From my part, I feel the shyness and wantlessness of my Lover.
From her part, she feels the chaos and irony of my mind.
But our faith is strong even in the moments of confusion. For woven into the entire fabric was signs and wonders and evidence of our divine coupling.
And I feel in my heart the lives of those I never knew. She has given me grandparents, and fathers, and sons and daughters. I sit by the graves of her family and cry to them as I profess my love for them. I know them as though I had lived with them.
And in her heart she feels the reason and challenge of my own heart. The power within, the futility of the wars, the gentleness by which she knows my own heart has been proven.
For a time she knows who I am while I know who she is. To each we have been given the balance of the other. The mirror now reflects the reflection.
And again, our former words have been given real life and made manifest. For on her heart is written my name by the very truth of my heart with her. In my soul is the truth of her Word, her devoted gift to us and to our way is reflected in the nature of me.
So I take a step forward into the new reality where my life has been lived for her, and her life has been lived for me. Our lives have been lived within each other, and this we share not only in words anymore. Her memories impact is within me, and my journey’s path is within her.
She sees herself through my own eyes.
I see my heart in her own passion.
The life of nature, and the will of nature are one.
The wilderness is no longer a place of Lost Souls.
