Nor would I walk the path of life
With any other
In a realm where there was not
You
I would not honor the dreams of the progenitors
Nor would I desire to know the cosmos
Except for the reality
Of your gift to my life
Of love
I would not seek knowledge or wisdom
Nor would I allow there to be any humility in me
Except for the precious gem
Of your life
In my hands
I would not build
Nor would I destroy
Nor would I rise up or fall
Nor would I do it all over again
Unless and except for you
There is no command of the word
Nor genetic imperative to obey
That has marked my footsteps
But that of the journey
To be one with another as in the beginning
This had been given to me as choice
And there did I stand upon the road with two paths
Both entirely similar
Both entirely lifelong
But only one that could lead me to you
Truly there is no other upon the whole of the earth
Who can mold or shape that which we desire
Who can speak of what it is we should be
Who can designate or instruct
The gift of the coupling
Where we stand, where we walk
Where we run, where we rest
Where we turn, where we stop
And where we lay together
Is entirely ours to rule and to create
What we design to be just and right
What we design to be progress and destiny
What we design to be tradition and harmony
What we design to be love and sacred
Is entrusted to us as Holy Rite
Such a gift has the power to create new life
Such a gift has the power to create new reality
Such a gift has the power to create new paradigms
Such a gift has the power to create new sovereignty
Such a gift has the power to create new power
Among the billions of billions who have lived
And among the billions of they who joined another
Could there ever be one set alike another
Nor can there be one couple who touches the ripples of the universe
As any other couple has been established to
All who are joined are unique
Sacred and Holy within themselves
And recognized as so
Before the faces of the lineage of all life
Given to them, their time
Love endures the greatest tests of woe
Experiences the highest joys of life
And stands as a Testimony
Written in blood and emoted expression
Written in thought and spirited eternity
My love for She who stands with me
Consecrated all that has been spoken herein
Nonnegotiable to any point
As the rock of the foundation laid
Of many creations in the Heavens and of the Earth
Many faces have they who walk this earth together
In the light of mankind
But none shall see the beautiful timelessness
Shared among those who journey together
In their life created between each others intimacy
As seasons and times and changes revolve
We mark upon our hearts and hands and heads
The Light of the Days we celebrate
To the very end of time
Shall the beginning live forever
It is this
That proclaimed the words of love
