A Letter to Eve
My Eve,
Man is born with a sorrowful pit inside his belly.
He finds all that he can to fill this place of emptiness.
His hands do work to satisfy his will.
His arms do reach for wine to satisfy his thirst.
His mouth does take in life to satisfy his hunger.
His drive does put forth creation to satisfy his eyes
and fill up this pit inside
that is so deep and so hollow and so longing.
Indeed in Man’s journey
he finds that only God can rest inside his soul
for there to be a lasting peace and love.
And so it is that men go to religion to find this God,
or go to self improvement to find this peace,
or go to yet another spiritual level
to gain satisfaction out of life.
He does come to realize
that only the dream of the Kingdom of Heaven
could ever hold such attention.
But then again he wonders
at why he has still yet to sit and eat
at the bountiful table set before him.
All these things he has come to understand,
yet still in his heart there is a vast emptiness of yearning.
His spiritual eyes perceives and sees such wonders,
but his spirit itself cannot yet touch what is before him.
Then we see what we have forgotten.
God did say to man that it is not good for him to be alone.
Man who has gained so many brothers and sisters in his spiritual journey
has learned the value of family,
and the value of intimate truths shared in earnest seeking.
He has stood at the precipice of time itself,
and felt the release of honesty within
shed away years of misdirection,
human conditioning and human domestication.
With an undying devotion to the causes of life,
the Heavens do open for the revelation of Man.
Between Words and Deed there lies an ocean.
So it has been with thoughtful preparation
that I have come to you with my arms open wide.
It has been with eternal longing
that I have sacrificed all things in the name of our love.
It has been with gladness and with generosity
I have forgiven the past of my days
in celebration of our love rewarded us now.
I once told you
that I would go to hell and back with you
in the blink of an eye,
without hesitation,
without fear,
and without reservation.
Indeed all that has come before us in our lives of isolation,
strife, dishonest course corrections, and abandoned securities
have served to prepare us for what lay ahead now.
It has been through Hell itself,
that I may stand and make true with authority
the words that proceed from my mouth
into action and result.
It has been through your own imprisonment
and your steadfast yearning for my return
that you now may know Evidence of your own Faith.
My love
ALL that we are has been and will always be
because of the Nature of God itself.
I am son to the Mother of Earth,
and son to the Father of the Heavens.
We are as a hidden shadow
among the peoples of the earth,
and our lives reflect to them only
what they themselves desire to project.
Our space has been reserved always for us,
and when a man and a woman truly come together in spirit,
they too will know such as this alone for themselves.
Our passions are ours,
and we are at will to create as we wish within our reality.
Call now upon Father, and now upon Mother,
and you will see their very spirit rests within you always,
as it does so within me.
Together we are the remnants of the origins of man.
Your words you have spoken
after the miracle of expression in works.
Your grace and Beauty
are as the jewels in the crown of my Head.
The truth of your efforts,
and the desire for our family
will never cease to flourish inside your everlasting spirit.
I am as I am
because you have not forgotten me.
You are as you are,
because I have never ceased to find you.
So that we could be whole again,
as we once were,
in the beginning of time.
I love you, in everything that is.
